About me
David brings over thirty years of experience in formal and informal education. With a science education and administration background, he has written environmental education manuals, provided environmental education workshops for teachers, students, and the public, and taught EE as part of university teacher education courses. David has led environmentally focused public schools for twenty years. He is a lifelong learner with a PhD and a recently completed Master of Public Administration degree, and he continues to nurture his interest in music, photography, and nature. He has worked with many community organizations, writing a public discovery curriculum for a city botanic garden, helping reclaim abused wetlands, establishing an outdoor education center, mitigating invasive species, and ensuring public school students receive outdoor-oriented opportunities.
